I'm Baaaaacckk!!

Where do I begin?  There is clearly way too much to catch up on so we will begin with how I am back to blogging and start from today!

I got to reading a few of my friends blogs and thinking how much I would love for my kids to have a blog to be able to look at years down the road.  Besides they are the whole reason I began blogging!  I myself and working on some genealogy and was thinking how nice it would be to view a blog and learn so much and see so much all in one spot!

Camron graduated from Kindergarten this past week.  I am so proud of him for all of the great work he brought home throughout the year.  His favorite thing to do right now is spell out random words!

Capri is going to be a fantastic Mom.  She takes such good care of her "babies" which are random dolls and stuffed animals.  Her favorite right now is Strawberry Shortcake which is one that Daddy picked up for her.  Its okay with me since it smells just like a real strawberry shortcake!  She is 2 1/2 and walking around here like a teenager!  She is changing her outfit at least four times a day.  And she is already leaving her clothes on the floor!  AHhhhhhh!!!!  Yes, its driving me crazy but she isn't she just so adorable?!?!

I now have a new shadow around the house.  This is Eva.  She is our chocolate lab who brings us much joy and challenge!  We have been told to get her a companion to calm her down.  Is that true?

There is so much more I could talk about but I don't want to back track too much!

If there is anything that you want me to post on from the past year or so let me know.  I'll do it!  Happy blogging and wish me luck!

trash to treasure

A few days ago Tiffany (my sister) and I went over to help Mom get ready for her yard sale. I found some mirrors that I thought I could do something with but wasn't sure what.
They looked pretty rough!

This is what I ended up with! It was super easy.

I just used some Mod Podge, scrap book paper and a Cri Cut.

What are some crafty things that you do?! I am always looking for new ideas.

Its true, kidney stones are just as painful as giving birth!

Sorry I have been away from blogging for so long. I was busy passing kidney stones! Yes ladies and gents, it is just as painful as giving birth! I woke up one morning with pain in my back on the right side! I couldn't walk and was trying to hold in my screams so the kids wouldn't get scared. I told Camron I was working on my dinosaur sounds! Ben said enough was enough and loaded all of us up and headed to the hospital. They took me right back and got the process going. They had me doing cat scans, blood work and an IV. I had to wait for the results on the scan before I could have any pain meds. But there weren't many options since I am still nursing. The first drug they gave me just didn't cut it so onto the narcotics we went. They gave me dilaudid and boy that thing took care of the pain right away! I had to tell the nurse to stop putting it in my IV! I DO NOT like feeling like that but anything was better than the pain I was having. I came home the same day after they told me that I have multiple kidney stones in each of my kidneys. Multiple meaning more than 5! I followed up with a Urologist who tells me that I am one of his youngest kidney stone patients! Gee thanks Doc! They are running test on the stones and I will be doing blood work etc. He thinks the stones may have formed during my tough pregnancy and lyme disease. We will see. Now we just sit back and wait for the other stones to come out when they are ready.

Okay so I am back to the blogging and looking forward to sharing the funny things that go on week to week with The Wolfe Family!

Labor Day means NO labor!

So this labor day I accidentally scheduled Ben a few jobs! Woops! Even the customers were asking "Why are you working today?" of course his response was "My wife!". However he didn't have a full day so we managed to make it to the beach and have a great day with family and friends.
Following the fun at the beach we headed over to Stingrays where we had some great sushi. This is a picture of Camron and his cousin Easton holding up their "boobies"!

We headed home after a fun filled day only to get Camron ready for his first day of PreSchool!

let the blogging begin

Here goes nothing folks! I have always wanted to blog but I never really had the energy to do one. Now that my family is complete I think its important that I document all the exciting things that happen with us!
You may be wondering why the blog is titled "ice cream friday". Well besides the fact that I LOVE ice cream, it is also a tradition in our family that we have ice cream fridays. Every friday at some point in the day we will go eat ice cream together. This is just one thing I get to look forward to every week with my family!
I guess i should introduce the fam! Most of you already know us but for those of you who have been out of the loop for a bit we will get you caught up! Ben is 30 and owns Wolfe Pest Control LLC. You will probably be reading many stories about some of the experiences. Ben is my eternal companion, hard worker and an awesome dad. Camron will tell you that!
Camron is 4 years old and my secret agent (thats what he tells me when he wears his suit to church)! He begins preschool on Tuesday. Its bittersweet but he is so excited!
Capri is 8 months old. She is my soldier. We had a very scarey pregnancy and she helped me survive it. She loves to be in front of the camera as I am sure you will notice!
As for me, well you know me! I am now a Stay at home Mom with the greatest gifts I could be blessed with. I work with my hubby for Wolfe Pest Control and enjoy anytime I have with my family.
There are so many things that I wish I could post to get up to date but there is just too much so I am going to start fresh. For now I am going to say goodnight.
Thanks for stopping by to ice cream friday!
